Changing table for a newborn child

This was my second complete project. It was a gift for my best friend’s first child. I made the design based on a picture of a changing table he had liked. Again, I made many mistakes.

Beech is a wood that is not stable in time, so when you plane it, you have to quickly prepare the joint and then assemble it to avoid movements. Unfortunately, it took me at least one month between planing and jointing, so the wood had moved A LOT. Some legs were even twisted. I also made other mistakes, such as drilling through a mortice hole…

The drawers were made in cardboard by my girlfriend.
